GOOD CONDUCT CERTIFICATE BECOMES MANDATORY FOR UAE WORK VISA

A 'certificate of good conduct' will now be a prerequisite for obtaining a work visa in the UAE. The rule will come into effect from February 4.

The good conduct certificate must be issued from the country of origin of the person or from the country where he/she has been living for the past five year. The good conduct certificate should be ratified by the states commission and as well as the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The certificate is applicable foe the employee and is not for his/her dependents. Those who are coming to UAE on visit or tourist visa are not subjected this rule.

This rule is coming in practice for making UAE one of the safest countries in the world.
